The perfect sauce for any meal! This creamy miso mushroom sauce is so simple to make and elevates any dish.
Ingredients:
1 yellow onion
8 oz package baby bella mushrooms
1 cup chicken stock
3 tbsp yellow miso paste
1 cup chicken stock
Salt & Pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Handful of fresh parsley
1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
Pasrley to garnish
Directions:
In a pan, heat some avocado oil and add chopped onions.
Once onions are softened, move to the side of the pan so they can carmalize more and place mushrooms to pan. Allow mushrooms to get a sear by not touching them for a few minutes.
Mix everything together and add chicken stock and salt and pepper.
Add miso paste and allow paste to melt down in the stock, garlic powder, onion powder and white pepper.
Finally add you heavy whipping cream then turn off heat once you reach your thickness of sauce desired.
Garnish with more parsly on top and enjoy ontop of any protein.
