Egg Roll in a Bowl

One of my favorite 30 minute meals especially for dinner usually because I already get these ingredients weekly so they are readily available.


This recipe is also easily interchangeable for other ground meats, I personally love ground chicken. You can also opt out from the rice and swap for noodles.



ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground chicken

  • 16 oz Cole slaw bag (Green cabbage, Red cabbage and carrots)

  • 1 tbsp fresh Ginger

  • 6 Garlic cloves

  • 3 Green onions

  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil

  • 1 onion

  • Salt & pepper to taste


Toppings:

  • Siracha

  • Spicy Mayo

  • Green onions

  • Sesame seeds

  • Sweet chili sauce


  1. In a pan, add sesame seed oil and brown ground chicken.

  2. Add moved garlic, ginger and onions. Salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Add soy sauce, siracha and Cole slaw bag.

  4. All to steam on medium heat until cabbage is tender.

  5. Serve with green onions, spicy Mayo , sesame seeds and sweet chili sauce on-top.

  6. Optional: serve on-top of rice
