One of the easiest treats to make during the holidays is a this family favorite. It's a staple during the holidays. Make them to enjoy around Christmas time or to gift, they are sure to be a hit.
Ingredients:
10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
10 oz white chocolate chips
2-3 candy canes
1 tsp Peppermint extract
Directions:
1. Using the double broiler method, melt semi sweet chocolate chips. Add 1 tsp of peppermint extract to chocolate. Once melted, spread evenly onto pan lined with parchment paper. Place in fridge for 20-30 minutes.
2. Once again using the double broiler method, melt white chocolate chips.
3. While white chocolate is melting, crush candy canes.
4. Top original chocolate mixture with the melted white chocolate and sprinkle candy canes on top. Place in fridge for an additional 20-30 minutes.
