The easiest home made pickles. I love making these because you likely already have all the ingredients in your home. I also love to make these when my cucumbers are starting to become a bit soft. They become super crunchy pickles.
Ingredients:
4 Persian cucumbers
1 tbsp black peppercorns
6 garlic cloves
1 cup water
1 cup vinegar
1 tbsp salt is
1 bunch fresh dill
Directions:
Rough chop dill and add to pickling jar.
Rough chop garlic cloves and add to pickling jar.
Cut cucumbers into spears and add to pickling jar.
In a pot, heat water, salt, vinegar and peppercorns. Just enough to be warm, do not let it come to a boil.
Add liquid to ingredients in picking jar covering the tips of each cucumber spear.
Top with more dill and garlic before sealing and placing in fridge.
You can start enjoying these the next day, but they are usually ready by the third of fourth day.
